Job Summary
Conduct daily audits for Table Games, Slots, Food & Beverage, Hotel, Cage, Poker, and Promotions to ensure accurate transaction recording and adherence to minimum internal controls. Review system and paper documentation, identify and resolve reporting variances for the general ledger, and prepare exception reports for non-compliant items. Consolidate revenue information for daily management reports, prepare journal entries, and generate statistical spreadsheets in compliance with gaming regulations. Organize electronic and paper files to ensure easy access for internal and external auditors. Perform other accounting, compliance, and administrative tasks as assigned, including obtaining and maintaining a gaming license from the Gun Lake Tribal Gaming Authority.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 21+ years old
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge of Excel
- Ability to communicate effectively with Team Members and Management in both written and verbal form
- Must be able to perform basic data entry
- Must have the talent for organization
- Must enjoy detailed work
- Must be able to support Accounting in a team environment
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a gaming license from Gun Lake Tribal Gaming Authority
- Requires normal, corrective vision range
- Ability to see color
- Ability to distinguish letters, numbers, and symbols
- Ability to read, write, and input data into the computer
- Must have the manual dexterity to operate job-related equipment
- Must have the ability to access all properties and areas
- Ability to sit at a computer for long periods
- Ability to multi-task
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to handle varied interruptions
- All applicants must be able to demonstrate their US work authorization

Desired Qualifications
- Prior audit and accounting experience
- Advanced schooling in an applicable field
- General knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Experience with operational software
