Job Summary
Audit Attorney in the Cleveland office focusing on corporate audit responses. The role involves reviewing financial records, legal documents, and compliance reports; drafting and revising audit letters and responses; coordinating with attorneys, accountants, and clients; utilizing tools such as iManage, InTapp, and Excel to ensure timely and accurate responses to external auditors while maintaining client confidentiality and protecting attorney-client privilege; support for the Firm's Corporate and Securities Practice Group. The position is hybrid with work-from-home flexibility.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of corporate experience, inclusive of responding to requests from auditors
- J.D. degree from an ABA-accredited law school
- Active license in Illinois, New York or Ohio
- Strong familiarity with the audit process from start to finish
- Proficiency in iManage, InTapp, or similar programs, and MS Office
- Ability to clearly articulate complex legal matters and respond to information requests for auditors
- Professional demeanor with outstanding interpersonal and client service skills
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
