Job Summary
Conduct audits of financial statements in accordance with GAAP, assist in planning engagements, and perform tests of internal controls under supervision. Execute other accounting and auditing duties as assigned, while becoming proficient in required audit software. Identify potential issues and opportunities for audit efficiencies while interacting professionally with colleagues. Work independently with strong organizational skills in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities. This full-time role in Bethesda, MD, supports the firm's mission to provide exceptional financial, tax, and consulting services to nonprofit, government, and professional service clients.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree from accredited college/university
- 0-2 years of related experience
- Proficiency with computer, including Microsoft Suite, specifically Excel
- Well-rounded knowledge of accounting principles
- Demonstrate analytical skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and timelines
- Ability to work independently, use sound judgment and prioritize tasks
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability and willingness to learn
- Location: Bethesda, MD (Hybrid - 3x/week onsite)
