Job Summary
Audit Associate for government clients (cities, counties, and school districts) performing planning, workpaper preparation and review, client communications on-site or via phone/email, drafting and proofreading engagement documents and financial statements, importing trial balance data into Abdo software, and applying analytical skills to ensure accuracy. Responsibilities include contributing to team-based projects, utilizing firm software and AI-enabled tools, training other team members, and maintaining confidentiality and compliance with professional standards; ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting with CPA progression preferred and may work in a hybrid schedule with some days in the office or at client sites.
