Job Summary
Execute compilation, review, and audit procedures in accordance with SSARS and GAAS. Analyze financial data, investigate variances, and document conclusions while performing audit testing, including evaluating internal controls and substantive testing. Ensure engagement documentation complies with firm policies and professional standards. Assist in preparing financial statements and note disclosures, and communicate professionally with clients to request information and clarify accounting matters. Manage multiple engagements and deadlines concurrently while maintaining client confidentiality and complying with ethical standards.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
- Basic understanding of accounting principles including (U.S. GAAP, GAAS, and SSARS) and financial statements
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Interpersonal skills
- Organizational skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of client information
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
Desired Qualifications
- Progress toward or intent to obtain CPA license
