Job Summary
Undertake technical reviews of environmental assessment reports, remediation plans, and validation reports for contaminated sites. Prepare site audit reports, notifications, and interim advice while conducting on-site inspections to observe conditions. Manage project finances including budgeting, invoicing, and client communication, alongside proposal preparation and business development activities. Requires a Bachelor's degree in environmental science or engineering, five years of contaminated land experience, and strong knowledge of local and national environmental standards. Full Australian working rights required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree or higher in environmental science, environmental engineering, science, planning or other disciplines relevant to contaminated land assessments and remediation
- 5+ years relevant experience in environmental consulting specialising in contaminated land projects
- Full Australian working rights
- Strong knowledge of local, State and National environmental standards and guidelines
Desired Qualifications
- Developing technical skills in one or more of the following areas: audit support, contaminated site assessment, remediation, human health and/or ecological risk assessment, management of asbestos in soils, hydrogeological assessment, waste / landfill management
- Ability to promote Senversa nationally by assisting principal staff with business development and marketing initiatives
- Methodical and detail orientated working style
- Ability to meet deadlines, a self-starter and highly motivated
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships with peers and clients
