Job Summary
Audit Assistant responsible for building and maintaining effective relationships with client personnel, assisting with Audit and Assurance engagements, and assisting with the preparation of Financial Statements in accordance with GAPSME and IFRS. Supports the Audit senior and management, performing other audit engagements as required, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. Candidates should be pursuing or interested in ACCA qualification, proficient in MS Excel, able to communicate fluently in English, and work well within a team. The role is based in Malta (Birkirkara) with flexible hybrid work arrangements and opportunities for study leave and further education incentives.
Required Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or interested in pursuing ACCA qualification or equivalent
- Conversant with standard software packages, proficient in MS Excel and be ready to learn company-specific software if required
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
- Ability to work with a team and possess strong interpersonal skills
- A demonstrated commitment to high professional ethical standards
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment
- A flexible approach to work
- Previous experience in an accounting or audit position will be considered an asset
