Job Summary
Plan, supervise, and execute full end-to-end audits while meeting agreed budgets and deadlines. Lead audits by delegating tasks to trainees, assisting them with technical queries, and delivering complete audit files for review. Prepare and review annual statutory accounts and corporation tax services under primary accounting frameworks like FRS 102. Maintain close liaison with clients, audit teams, and partners to identify needs and offer solutions. Motivate team members, ensure compliance with internal and external standards, and achieve annual chargeable hours targets. Take responsibility for maintaining annual training requirements.
Required Qualifications
- ACA or ACCA Qualified
- Minimum of 2 years auditing experience, including leading audits
- Strong technical knowledge of UK accounting standards (primarily FRS 102) and auditing standards
- Proficient in using Audit and Accounts software and Microsoft Office 365
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients, partners, and colleagues effectively
- Strong organisational skills, including the ability to multitask, prioritize work, and manage time efficiently
- Attention to detail and diligence
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
