Job Summary
Lead a portfolio of audit and accounts clients, managing engagements from planning to completion while preparing statutory and annual reports. Conduct in-depth risk assessments, review and approve junior staff work, and present audit findings through management letters. Mentor team members to develop technical skills and foster a high-performing culture, while expanding client relationships and supporting partners on strategic initiatives. Ensure full compliance with professional standards and accounting regulations, driving process improvements across the team. Required Qualifications
- ACA or ACCA qualification, with Audit RI status or desire to obtain this
- Significant experience in audit and accounts within a practice environment
- Strong technical knowledge of UK GAAP and auditing standards
- Proven experience reviewing and supervising staff, with the ability to develop and inspire teams
- Commercial awareness with a client-focused mindset
- Excellent organisational and leadership skills, able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Proficiency in accounting software such as Xero, Sage, QuickBooks, or similar
