Job Summary
Assist with day-to-day AV office functions, including set-up, operation, and strike of all audiovisual equipment for client functions. Manage multiple projects and maintain positive public relations with hotel accounts while utilizing business software effectively. Continually increase AV skills and knowledge across audio, video, lighting, and computer systems. This role requires working long hours on feet, lifting up to 50 pounds, and adhering to a varied schedule. Required Qualifications
- Minimum of one years' experience in the AV industry
- Advances knowledge and experience with AV set-ups and strikes
- Background customer service or hospitality experience required
- Certification in AV technology or related courses (preferred)
- Audio - microphones, speakers, sound systems, channel mixers, etc.
- Video - LCD, LED, projectors, screens, monitors, etc.
- Lighting - GOBO, gels, uplighting, basic lighting kits, stage lighting, etc.
- Computers - Advanced knowledge on PC and Mac software
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- This position requires the ability to work long hours on your feet
- This position requires the ability to regularly lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
- This position requires the ability to work a varied schedule
- This position requires the applicant to be authorized to work in the United States
Desired Qualifications
