Job Summary
Aud audiovisual Design/Sales Engineer for the NYC Metro/CT region focusing on designing and selling AV solutions. Responsibilities include assessing client needs, designing and proposing AV systems and equipment selections, demonstrating product benefits, coordinating with engineering and installation teams, maintaining client relationships for future opportunities, and using CRM to track leads and sales performance. Requires 3-5+ years in AV integration or sales, proficiency with Crestron/Extron/QSC/Biamp/Audinate and related AV technologies, strong communication and relationship-building skills, and CTS/CTS-D certifications are a plus. The role offers full-time direct-hire employment in a hybrid-remote working arrangement in the NYC/Port Chester area with benefits including health/dental/vision, retirement plans, professional development, flexible work environment, and PTO.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5+ years of experience in audiovisual integration or sales
- Strong networking skills
- Proficient in the sales of industry-standard technologies and products such as Crestron, Extron, QSC, Biamp, Audinate and others
- Understanding of audiovisual design principles
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to build and maintain client relationships
- CTS, CTS-D certifications from AVIXA is highly desirable
