Job Summary
Audiovisual Design Engineer responsible for designing, implementing, and ensuring reliable, scalable global conference room AV/VC infrastructure. Lead development of standards, deployment documentation, and lifecycle management for AV tech across offices, collaborating with IT, Real Estate, Design/Construction, Security, and Operations. Requires expert AV design/programming (QSYS, Logitech, Google Meet), enterprise networking, CAD drawing production, scripting (Lua, Python), and experience deploying 300+ AV spaces with strong video conferencing platform expertise (Zoom/Meet/Teams). Hybrid role with 3 days/week in the San Francisco office, focused on global AV architecture, monitoring, automation, and user experience.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years experience in design, installation, and troubleshooting of enterprise AV
- expert-level AV design, programming and implementation of enterprise AV systems
- experience implementing and using Google Meet, Logitech and QSYS hardware at a global scale
- experience with enterprise networking technologies and architectures (Multicast routing, switch configuration, QoS, IGMP)
- Advanced QSYS programming experience
- Cloud hosting experience for highly available AV services (monitoring, alerting)
- experience managing global AV office deployments of over 300 AV spaces
- CAD drawing package production experience (Revit, AutoCAD, Vectorworks, Visio)
- Event space design and commissioning with production equipment (Vizrt, AnalogWay, Yamaha, Panasonic, QSYS, NDI, Dante, ST2110)
- AV Scripting experience (Lua, Appscript, Python)
- Proven experience with Zoom, Meet, Teams
- Experience developing RFPs for AV integration vendors and managing bid/build process
- Experience with conference room booking hardware/software
- Deep understanding of AV over IP (QLAN, ST 2110, Dante, NDI) in corporate networks
- Experience with IT ticketing systems and maintaining SLAs
