Job Summary
Audiologist or Hearing Instrument Specialist role across multiple OR/WA/ID offices. Responsibilities include providing quality dispensing services (hearing tests, hearing aid fittings), educating patients on device use and best practices, performing checks and troubleshooting on hearing aids and related devices, conducting ear mold services, and ensuring aftercare. Role supports Telehealth initiatives (Remote Care) to expand patient care, with local outreach at health fairs and physician relationships. Requires active state licensure (Hearing Aid Dispensing or Audiology) or HIS licensure, and a Doctorate or Master’s degree in Audiology (Au.D. preferred) or equivalent licensure. Office hours are 9am–5pm, Monday–Friday, with flexible scheduling and optional travel to satellite locations. Relocation assistance up to $10,000 may be offered. Salary structure includes a starting annual target around $90,000 with base range $55,000–$75,000 plus profit-sharing potential. Benefits include PTO and professional development opportunities. Locations include Pendleton, OR; Spokane, WA; Chelan, WA; East Wenatchee, WA; with the option for travel to satellite locations.
Required Qualifications
- Active Hearing Aid Dispensing License or Audiology License
- Doctorate or Master’s degree in Audiology (Au.D. preferred) or state licensure as a Hearing Instrument Specialist (HIS)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience with hearing aids, diagnostic tools, and audiology software preferred
