Audiology

The Audiologist role at Rochester Hearing & Speech Center provides comprehensive diagnostic, rehabilitative, and hearing aid dispensing services across the lifespan, including conducting evaluations (pediatric to geriatric), administering audiological procedures, dispensing and servicing hearing aids, counseling patients and families, and coordinating with healthcare and community partners. Key duties include interpreting test results (audiometry, tympanometry, OAEs, VRA, CPA, speech-in-noise, central auditory processing, cochlear implant evaluations), developing treatment recommendations, maintaining clinical caseload, ensuring compliance with HIPAA/Medicaid/EMR standards, documenting accurately, and supporting collaboration with physicians, educators, and support staff.
