Job Summary
Audiologist needed to perform in-person disability assessments for U.S. Veterans as part of VA disability benefits. Responsibilities include reviewing electronic medical records via a secure portal, conducting Maryland CNC and Puretone audiometric tests, and completing the Disability Benefits Questionnaire within the portal to generate VA medical documentation. Role emphasizes documentation and assessment without prescribing treatments or devices; compliance with VA determinations. Schedule is part-time (3 days/week, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM) with an in-person preference, handling a 3–6 veteran daily caseload, equipped with necessary tools for documentation. Requires compassionate service to Veterans, strong analytical skills to review records and assessment data, excellent time management, proficiency with electronic documentation and web portals. Compensation includes competitive hourly pay ($52–$55/hour) with benefits; stable schedule and no on-call duties.
