Job Summary
Part-time Audiologist performing in-person disability assessments for U.S. Veterans as part of the VA disability benefits process. Tasks include reviewing electronic medical records via a secure web portal, conducting Maryland CNC Test and Puretone Audiometric testing, and completing the Disability Benefits Questionnaire (DBQ) within the portal to support VA determinations. Role involves documenting exam findings, ensuring accurate VA forms, and interacting with Veterans; no treatment or device prescriptions. Schedule is 3 days/week (8:00 AM - 4:00 PM), located in Adams Center, NY, with a caseload of 3-6 Veterans per day. Equipment and training provided; requires Au.D., ASHA-accredited education, and an active Audiologist license.
