Job Summary
Conduct in-person disability assessments for U.S. Veterans, review electronic medical records via a secure web portal, perform Maryland CNC Test and Puretone Audiometric testing, and complete a Disability Benefits Questionnaire (DBQ) within the portal to generate documentation for VA eligibility determinations. Responsibilities include documenting exam findings, ensuring timely completion without prescribing treatments or devices, and maintaining professional and empathetic interactions with Veterans. Schedule is part-time (3 days/week, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM) in Carthage, NY with a caseload of 3–6 Veterans per day; equipment provided; ASHA-registered credentials and an active Audiologist license required.
Required Qualifications
- Au.D. degree
- Current Audiologist license
- ASHA-Accredited program
- Proficiency with electronic documentation and web-based portals
- Eligibility to work in the United States
