Job Summary
Audiologist position at Leidos QTC Health Services in New York focusing on independent medical opinions for veterans/service members. Responsibilities include administering and interpreting tests to determine hearing impairment (air/bone conduction, speech reception/discrimination), evaluating results in relation to medical records, otoscopic exams, cerumen management, calibration checks of audiometric equipment, and leading paraprofessional staff training. Role involves up to 50% travel to multiple locations nationwide, telehealth/remote options available for examinations, and onboarding/training with a comprehensive benefits package. Qualifications include a Doctorate in Audiology, active state license, ASHA/AAA certification, 3+ years of clinical experience, ability to obtain government clearances, and readiness for ongoing certifications.
Required Qualifications
- Doctorate Degree in Audiology from an accredited college or university
- Current unrestricted Audiologist license in the state where you will be employed
- ASHA and/or AAA certification prior to hire
- 3+ years of clinic practice experience
- Ability to obtain and maintain government clearances (LARS, Public Trust, NACI, etc.) as required
- Ability to pass medical clearance (N95 fit test, TB test, Hepatitis A/B vaccination/titer) and other clearances as required
- Willingness to travel up to 50%
- Experience conducting occupational/disability medical examinations (preferred)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and electronic medical records
