Job Summary
Perform audiologic evaluations, electrophysiologic, and vestibular testing on patients ranging from pediatrics through adults. Conduct speech audiometry, pure tone air and bone conduction, tympanograms, and special tests including auditory brainstem response and otoacoustic emissions as assigned. Manage hearing aid services, including fittings, verification, troubleshooting, and counseling, while performing cochlear implant and BAHA evaluations and routine care. Execute canalith repositioning procedures for benign positional vertigo and manage cerumen removal. Counsel patients on assistive listening devices and provide educational materials, then conduct follow-up appointments to validate instrument success and make adjustments. Document all visits in the electronic medical record and maintain instruments and lab supplies according to company policy.
Required Qualifications
- Master's or Doctorate degree in Audiology
- State of Ohio Audiology license
- ability to attain State of Ohio Audiology license within 1 month of hire
- Intermediate-Advance level ability in the Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Ability to communicate and articulate complex information simply
