Job Summary
Diagnose and treat hearing loss while performing hearing tests, fittings, and troubleshooting repairs on hearing aids and amplification devices. Counsel patients on device purchases and educate users on best practices, then interpret test results to propose treatments. Manage patient populations and meet clinical finance targets by counseling on third-party payors and maintaining ethical sales standards. Conduct community outreach at health fairs and develop physician relationships to grow the practice. Support telehealth initiatives by conducting remote hearing tests and coaching patients on device usage. Maintain continuing education requirements and operate audiometric equipment to ensure compliance with state licensing standards.
Required Qualifications
- Active Hearing Aid Dispensing License or Audiology License in accordance with state requirements
- 2+ years Hearing Aid sales experience
- 2 years equivalent in industry training under a licensed HIS or AuD
