Job Summary

Conduct one-time, non-treatment audiology compensation and pension exams for Veterans by reviewing medical history documentation and capturing responses via web-based forms. Perform comprehensive audio exams to assess hearing loss or tinnitus, including pure tone air and bone, tympanometry, acoustic reflex, and speech recognition testing. Submit completed electronic documentation to the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs for disability award determinations. All equipment and custom soundproof booths are provided on location.

Required Qualifications

  • Active and unrestricted Audiologist license
  • Master's or doctorate from a program accredited by CAA, ACAE, or ASHA certification
  • Active and valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to be flexible and adapt to changing situations
  • Basic computer skills
  • Fully vaccinated per CDC and state guidelines

Desired Qualifications

  • Prior VA or compensation exam experience
