Job Summary
Audiologist II position provides a full range of differential diagnostic and rehabilitative audiologic services to patients with peripheral hearing loss or central auditory disorders. Responsibilities include comprehensive patient evaluation (audiometry, tympanometry, ABRs for infants/children), patient counseling, hearing aid assessments and fittings, cochlear implant evaluation, and management plans; maintains own hearing aid patient caseload, collaborates with educational and outside agencies, and participates in education/research activities. Requires Doctorate in Audiology, NC licensure, and five years of experience; part-time onsite at UNC ENT Goldsboro in Goldsboro, NC.
Required Qualifications
- Doctorate degree in Audiology
- Current license in Audiology issued by the North Carolina Board of Examiners for Speech and Language Pathologists and Audiologists
- Five years of experience as an audiologist
