Job Summary
Identify, evaluate, and rehabilitate audiological disorders and hearing loss in patients across all age groups, including infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatric populations. Conduct patient and family education while exercising courtesy and patience when assisting patients, families, medical personnel, and others to provide quality customer service. This outpatient, PRN role supports the Rehabilitation Team's focus on evidence-based care, with opportunities for advanced certification training and tuition reimbursement.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Audiology
- Current licensure by the Georgia State Board of Speech/Language Pathology and Audiology
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification
Desired Qualifications
- Doctorate in Audiology
- Previous clinical experience
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Audiology granted by the American Speech –Language-Hearing Association
- Previously holding certification; or meets the educational requirements for certification and is in the process of accumulating the supervised experience required for certification with completion of CCC in one year
