Job Summary

Assess auditory problems of non-complex adult clients using established Australian Hearing practice methods and standards. Provide rehabilitative support including fitting hearing aids, assistive listening devices, personal amplification devices, and communication strategies. Refer clients to other professionals or seek guidance from senior audiologists where needed. Participate in services at visiting sites and home visits. Liaise with National Disability Insurance Scheme representatives, allied health agencies, and families to ensure best practice outcomes. Undertake community marketing and public relations activities as required. Manage client load and meet revenue targets while delivering exceptional customer service. Perform this work predominantly onsite at Bega with occasional support to Nowra and Batemans Bay locations.

Required Qualifications

  • Tertiary qualification in Audiology
  • Full and current membership with Audiology Society of Australia
  • Sound knowledge of clinical Audiology and procedures in accordance with Australian Audiology standards
  • Sound knowledge of Hearing Services Program
  • Exposure to National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) scheme
  • Current driver's licence
  • Rights to work in Australia
  • Willingness and flexibility to travel to other locations to undertake clinical work
