Job Summary
Assess auditory problems of non-complex adult clients using established Australian Hearing practice methods and standards. Fit hearing aids, assistive listening devices, and communication strategies while referring clients to other professionals or seeking guidance from senior audiologists. Participate in services at visiting sites and home visits, liaising with NDIS representatives, allied health agencies, and families to ensure best practice outcomes. Undertake community marketing and public relations activities as required, manage client load, and meet revenue targets. Provide excellent customer service in a client-centred environment. This permanent part-time role (3 days/week) is based predominantly in Bowral with support across Campbelltown and Narellan locations.
Required Qualifications
- Tertiary qualification in Audiology
- Full and current membership with Audiology Society of Australia
- Sound knowledge of clinical Audiology and procedures in accordance with Australian Audiology standards
- Sound knowledge of Hearing Services Program
- Exposure to National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) scheme
- Willingness and flexibility to travel to other locations to undertake clinical work
- Ability to support business changes to clinical practice, products and policies
- Current driver's licence
- Must have rights to work in Australia
- Willingness to have a Police Check conducted
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) representatives, other allied health and support agencies and families/carers
