Job Summary
Administer diagnostic tests and make recommendations for best rehabilitative services, including complete audiological and electrophysiological assessments like OAEs, ABR, and VEMP. Fit and dispense state-of-the-art digital hearing aids and other ALDs/accessories to ensure a successful patient journey. Conduct aural rehabilitation assessments, community education programs, and counseling for tinnitus, hyperacusis, and central auditory processing disorders. Manage implantable services such as cochlear implants and vestibular evaluations. Work full-time Monday through Friday with 6 paid holidays and PTO earned per pay period.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Audiology or Masters degree
- Eligible for FL state licensure
- Problem solving ability
- Independent work capability
- Strong communication skills
- Strong computer skills
- Ability to interact professionally with patients, physicians, and team members
- Full-time employment availability
- Monday - Friday schedule availability
- Coordination, manual dexterity, and physical dexterity sufficient to use medical and office equipment
- Ability to sit, stand, bend, and stoop
- Ability to assist patients in transferring from wheelchair to an exam chair
- Capability to travel between ENTAAF offices for support purposes
- Capability to lift up to 25 pounds
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Tinnitus and Hyperacusis management and treatment
- Experience with Implantable Services (Cochlear Implant, Baha, Ponto, Esteem Envoy)
- Experience with Industrial Hearing Conservation Identification and Management
- Experience with Vestibular Evaluation and Rehabilitation
- Experience with Electrophysiological assessment (ABR, EcoG, OAEs, VEMP)
- Experience with Central Auditory Processing Disorders
- Experience with Clinical Trials
