Job Summary
Conduct VA Compensation & Pension (C&P) audiology evaluations for Veterans in a non-treatment, evaluation-focused role. Perform structured hearing and tinnitus evaluations per VA guidelines, utilizing Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) and standardized audiology testing protocols. Gather history through focused, objective interviews; complete audiometric testing and related clinical documentation; prepare clear, concise reports in VA-required formats; maintain objectivity and adhere to ethical and confidentiality standards. Complete and submit documentation within required timeframes; maintain clear boundaries between evaluation and treatment. 1099 Independent Contractor with in-person opportunities in Tacoma, WA; flexible scheduling and no ongoing patient caseload; opportunity to support Veterans through structured, predictable work.
Required Qualifications
- Active Audiologist license
- Doctor of Audiology (Au.D)
- Master of Science (M.S.)
- Master of Audiology (M.A.)
- PhD in Audiology or Speech-Language Pathology
- Master?s in Communication Disorders (MCD)
- Doctor of Education in Audiology (Ed.D)
- Strong documentation and report-writing skills
- Ability to follow structured evaluation protocols
- Comfortable performing objective, fact-based evaluations
