Job Summary
Externship for AuD students offering a full-time paid clinical experience across a comprehensive audiology practice, including diagnostic and rehabilitation services for pediatric and adult patients, cochlear implant and BAHS fitting, newborn screening, ototoxic monitoring, vestibular evaluation, and auditory evoked potentials. Located primarily at the Champaign-Urbana outpatient clinic in Illinois with opportunities at Danville and Mattoon; supervised by IL-licensed, ASHA-certified Audiologists, with potential clinical observation in Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery. By program end, participants will be prepared to work independently in a clinical setting with patients of all ages across three academic semesters.
Required Qualifications
- current AuD student in good academic standing
- completed 3 years of education at an Accredited Audiology Doctoral program
- completed practicum classes in audiologic diagnosis and treatment with patients of all ages
