Job Summary
As an Audiologist for MedEvals LLC, you will evaluate Veterans, conducting audiology evaluations to determine the severity of hearing issues and providing professional opinions on their relationship to military service. Responsibilities include administering and interpreting various auditory tests, evaluating results against behavioral and medical records, maintaining confidentiality per HIPAA, conducting otoscope examinations, and managing audiometric equipment. A Doctorate or Master's degree in Audiology or related fields is required, along with an active audiologist license.
Required Qualifications
- Doctorate Degree in Audiology (AuD)
- Master’s of Audiology (M.A.)
- Master’s of Science Degree in Audiology (M.S.)
- Audiology of Speech Language Pathology Degree (PHD)
- Master’s in Communication Disorders (MCD)
- Doctor of Education in Audiology (Ed.D)
- An active and unrestricted audiologist license in the state in which exams are performed
- ASHA certified or have completed a master’s or doctorate level through an ASHA certified program
