Job Summary
Provide diagnostic audiologic services and participate in the development of a new hearing aid center at the Mass Eye and Ear Mashpee and Harwich offices. Support patients with a wide variety of otologic and audiologic problems, utilizing skill and familiarity in working with children. Maintain a Massachusetts license to practice Audiology and hold a Doctoral degree with a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A) from ASHA. One year of professional full-time work experience is required, preferably in a hospital or medical private office setting. Experience with diagnostic audiologic testing of patients of all ages is essential. Full-time and part-time schedules are available with weekly hours of 40.
Required Qualifications
- Doctoral degree with a major in Audiology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
- Massachusetts license to practice Audiology
- One year of professional full-time work experience (including traineeship), preferably in a hospital or medical private office setting
- Experience with diagnostic audiologic testing of patients of all ages
- Skill and familiarity in working with children
