Job Summary
Send appointment confirmations, schedule audiologist appointments via Healow, and manage incoming/outgoing referrals, faxes, and medical records in eClinicalWorks. Collect payments in person and over the phone, create hearing aid purchase agreements with accurate CPT and DX codes, and process prior authorizations for Anthem FEP. Monitor inventory, place orders for hearing aids and supplies, assemble devices for fittings, and manage warranties. Perform routine hearing aid maintenance, assist with Bluetooth pairing, and clean clinical tools. Input device documentation into Suno and NOAH. This role supports day-to-day operations at The Hearing Center, ensuring patients receive timely, professional care from initial contact through follow-up.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience in a clinical, healthcare, or medical office setting
- Must be able to lift up to 20 lbs.
- Must be able to bend, reach, and stand for extended periods
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with EMRs (e.g., eClinicalWorks), Suno, and NOAH
- Prior experience in audiology, ENT, or related hearing health services
- Familiarity with insurance billing, prior authorizations, and coding
- Customer service or sales experience, especially in a healthcare or retail environment
