Job Summary
Audiologist needed to perform in-person disability assessments for U.S. Veterans as part of VA disability process. Responsibilities include reviewing electronic medical records in a secure portal, conducting Maryland CNC Test and Puretone Audiometric testing, and completing a Disability Benefits Questionnaire (DBQ) to generate VA documentation. Role does not involve prescribing treatments or devices; disability determinations are made by VA. Schedule PRN with Mondays and/or Fridays, potential travel to Fairbanks; caseload of 3-6 veterans per day. Requires compassionate service to Veterans, proficiency with electronic documentation and web portals, strong analytical and time-management skills, ASHA-certified academic background, and current Audiology license.
Required Qualifications
- Au.D. degree
- Current license as an Audiologist
- ASHA-Accredited School graduate
