Job Summary
Audiologist role performing in-person disability assessments for U.S. Veterans as part of the VA disability benefits process. Responsibilities include reviewing electronic medical records via a secure web portal, conducting Maryland CNC Test and Puretone Audiometric testing, and completing a Disability Benefits Questionnaire (DBQ) within the portal to generate medical documentation for VA eligibility determinations. Qualifications include an Au.D. and ASHA-accredited program, a current Audiologist license, proficiency with electronic documentation and web-based portals, and strong analytical/time-management skills. The position is part-time (2 days/week) with an in-person schedule and a caseload of 3-6 Veterans per day. Equipment and training are provided; compensation is salary-based with health, 401K, malpractice insurance, and CEU benefits. The role does not involve prescribing treatments or devices.
