Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive audiological examinations, hearing aid evaluations, selections, and repairs at skilled nursing and long-term care facilities. Perform cerumen management where permitted by state regulations and dispense or adjust new hearing aids. Travel to on-site treatment rooms to provide diagnostic imaging coverage for the aging population while managing all clinical decisions. Complete required patient and clinical documentation using the EMR system. As a 1099 Independent Contractor, you will work a flexible schedule with no evenings or weekends, supported by state-of-the-art portable equipment and a full Care Coordination team handling scheduling, billing, and IT support.
Required Qualifications
- Doctorate of Audiology is required (AuD)
- If graduated before 2006 a master's degree is acceptable
- Strong background in hearing aid dispensing along with fitting, and repairs
Desired Qualifications
- ENT experience helpful
