Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive diagnostic audiological examinations, hearing aid evaluations, selections, and repairs while performing cerumen management where permitted. Travel to skilled nursing and long-term care facilities to deliver on-site care, utilizing state-of-the-art portable equipment including audiometers and tympanometers. Dispense and adjust new hearing aids, manage all clinical decisions, and complete required patient documentation using the EMR system. As a 1099 Independent Contractor, you will enjoy flexible scheduling with no evenings or weekends, full office support for consents and scheduling, and mentorship from a Clinical Director.
Required Qualifications
- Doctorate of Audiology is required (AuD)
- If graduated before 2006 a master's degree is acceptable
- Strong background in hearing aid dispensing along with fitting, and repairs
Desired Qualifications
- ENT experience helpful
