Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive audiological examinations for Veterans, administering diagnostic audiometric testing and reviewing military and medical records to evaluate claimed conditions. Prepare accurate examination reports and develop medical opinions regarding the relationship between audiological conditions and military service. Maintain audiological equipment, ensure proper calibration, and collaborate with healthcare professionals while adhering to federal, state, and company policies. This non-treatment role involves gathering clinical evidence through interviews and face-to-face evaluations to support the VA disability claims process. Work Monday through Friday with flexible 4-, 8-, or 10-hour shifts, no weekends or holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Audiology (AuD), Master of Audiology (MA), or Master of Science in Audiology (MS)
- Current, active, and unrestricted Audiologist license in the state where services are performed
- Board Certification through the American Board of Audiology (ABA)
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Ability to work independently and maintain high-quality documentation standards
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum of one (1) year of clinical Audiology experience
- Experience conducting Compensation & Pension (C&P) examinations
- Experience working with Veterans or military populations
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems
