Job Summary
Audio Visual Technician for the Associated Students at San Francisco State University. Responsibilities include meeting clients’ audio-visual needs, setting up, operating, breaking down, and cleaning up audio, visual, and lighting equipment for meetings, conferences, events, and concerts; setting up tables and chairs for Student Center and campus organizational events; maintaining equipment security and storeroom organization; and performing additional duties as assigned by the Audio-Visual Systems Manager. Candidates must be currently enrolled at SFSU with the specified unit requirements and demonstrate ability to work under pressure with a flexible schedule; experience with sound reinforcement, video, lighting, and general AV equipment is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Must be currently enrolled at SFSU with a minimum of 6 units for undergraduates or 4 units for graduates.
- Ability to work flexible hours including mornings, evenings, weekends, and occasionally late night.
