Job Summary

Terminate, test, solder, and dress low voltage cabling while reading blueprints and operating scissor or boom lifts. Travel to project and user locations across the Greater Panama City Beach Area and surrounding regions, operating company vehicles with a valid driver's license. Work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and inclement weather conditions while adhering to OSHA standards and Florida State JLA certification requirements. Coordinate multiple tasks for government, military, and contractor clients within structured cabling, audio-visual, and security environments.

Required Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to obtain a Florida State JLA (Jessica Lunsford Act) Badge
  • 5 years of Low Voltage or Control Systems experience
  • Valid driver's license
  • Clean driving record
  • Ability to operate company vehicles safely and responsibly
  • US government security clearance
  • Ability to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily
  • Professional behavior that promotes teamwork, fosters cooperation and enhances productivity
  • Ability to coordinate, prioritize, and execute multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Ability to communicate verbally and in writing
  • Ability to communicate effectively with individuals at all levels of the company
  • Business casual grooming and dress (office environments)
  • Grooming and dress that does not pose a safety hazard (field environments)
  • Adherence to OSHA Standards
  • Capability to sit, stoop, kneel, or crouch for extended durations
  • Ability to lift and move equipment weighing up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to climb ladders, work at heights and in small, confined spaces
  • Ability to work in noisy environments with temperatures higher or lower than standard office conditions
  • Ability to work any shift/designated hours required
  • Ability to continue performance during inclement weather or other conditions
  • Ability to travel to areas with varying field conditions
  • Ability to work well in a team setting
  • Ability to keep abreast of industry trends and developments
  • Knowledge of applicable Government regulations
  • Experience with A/V, Data, Voice, Networking, and Fiber cabling
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to terminate, test, solder, and dress low voltage cabling
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints
  • Ability to use scissor lifts / boom lifts
  • Ability to operate motor vehicles
  • Regular attendance following an established work schedule
  • Ability to obtain and maintain required certifications or licenses through the duration of the project or contract
