Job Summary
Set up, operate, and dismantle audio-visual equipment for meetings, conferences, weddings, banquets, entertainment events, and special functions. Operate sound, lighting, projection, and video systems during live events to ensure smooth and professional execution. Perform preventive maintenance, routine inspections, and troubleshooting on microphones, speakers, mixers, projectors, LED screens, and displays. Provide on-site technical support for VIP guests, executive meetings, and high-profile events while coordinating with Engineering, Events, Banquets, Entertainment, and IT teams. Maintain accurate records of equipment inventory and repairs, assist with new system installations, and ensure all work adheres to manufacturer guidelines and resort standards. Work flexible shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in Audio Visual operations within a luxury hotel, resort, or high-end event environment
- Technical knowledge of professional audio, video, lighting, and presentation systems
- Experience in operating and maintaining AV equipment for events, conferences, weddings, and entertainment programs
- Knowledge of AV troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and basic equipment repairs
- Understanding of electrical safety practices and AV system installations
- Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving abilities
- Ability to remain calm, professional, and service-focused in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with multiple teams
- Proficient in English communication (written and spoken)
- Flexible to work shifts, weekends, holidays, and special events as required
