Audio-Visual Systems Installation Technician

Job Summary
Install and support audio, video, and control systems in corporate boardrooms, classrooms, conference centers, and public venues by interpreting schematics, pulling and terminating cabling, mounting equipment, and integrating platforms like Crestron and Extron. Configure and test AV systems to resolve signal flow issues, perform calibrations, and document installation progress while communicating with project managers and clients. Assist in post-installation servicing and provide on-site and remote technical support. Requires a valid driver's license, ability to lift 75 pounds, and travel to job sites including occasional overnight stays. Required Qualifications
- Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid Driver's License
- clean Motor Vehicle Record
- Ability to obtain formal approved clearances
- Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds
- Ability to work in various environments, including outdoor and indoor installations
- Travel to job sites
- occasional overnight stays
- Physically demanding work climbing ladders, lifting equipment, working in ceilings and other tight spaces
- Collaboration with other trades (electricians, IT teams, general contractors)
Desired Qualifications
- Formal education in Electronics or related field
- Experience in commercial AV installation, 1-3 years
- OSHA safety certification
- CTS or manufacturer certifications (e.g., Extron, Crestron)
