Audio Visual Supervisor

Job Summary
Install, maintain, and repair facility audio, video, and broadcast systems, including scoreboard operations and cable feeds. Troubleshoot technical problems in real time using test equipment and blueprints, while supervising audio technicians, Venus technicians, and camera operators. Manage subordinate crews by interviewing, hiring, training, and directing work, ensuring compliance with safety codes and Legends Global policies. Coordinate with operations sections and outside contractors to maintain inventory and resolve field issues. Perform event standby duties and adhere to physical demands involving climbing, lifting, and extended standing.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 2+ years of previous Audio/Video experience
- Ability to identify and terminate all forms of audio and video connections whether consumer, professional or broadcast level
- Extensive knowledge and understanding of signal flow for both audio and video applications
- Working knowledge of wireless systems and frequencies
- Knowledge and understanding of digital vs. analog signals in both audio and video
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Working knowledge of RF cable signals and plants
- Knowledge of installation of patch bays, switchers, mixers and converters in both audio and video applications
- Ability to distinguish colors and color-coded wires
- Hearing sufficient to clearly hear voices, alarms, bells and horns
- Must be able to speak, read and write English
- Must have the physical ability to maneuver around the facility, at times, walking and/or standing up to 8-14 hours daily
- Ability to kneel, climb to walkways or balance
- Frequently lift in the excess of 50 pounds
- Must possess a professional attitude and appearance
Desired Qualifications
- College or Technical School degree
- Supervisory experience
- Some computer knowledge
