Job Summary
Read electronic schematics and architectural blueprints to perform preventative maintenance and field installation of control programs including QSC, ETC, and Crestron systems. Execute service and install tasks such as pulling cable, low voltage terminations, and mounting projectors while adhering to WSIB standards. Manage workloads with autonomy under the direction of Senior Technicians or Project Managers, ensuring accurate job documentation and client system support. Provide end-user training and troubleshoot networked devices across the Vancouver area with local and out-of-town travel required.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to communicate effectively with employees, customers, and colleagues
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, plans and project documents
- Ability to use hand and power tools in a safe and controlled manner
- Ability to work and think independently
- Basic Mac & PC knowledge
- Knowledge of basic signal flow for audio, video and control systems
- Minimum of High School Diploma
- Ability to clear all background checks required for government security clearances
- Local and out of town travel required
- Working at heights on aerial lifts and ladders
- 3-4 years prior AV and or theatrical experience preferred
