Job Summary
Provide technical expertise for the architecture, installation, and planning of audio, video, and control solutions. Complete high-quality documentation including CAD drawings, system descriptions, and equipment research to meet customer-specific needs. Research hardware and software capabilities to design integrated audiovisual systems. Support projects throughout the implementation process while preparing and interpreting advanced single-line diagrams and engineering schematics. Manage project financial reports to control costs in design and management. Requires 3+ years of design engineering experience, knowledge of control systems like Crestron and QSC, and CTS certifications are a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Prior experience in the service and installation of audio, video and presentation systems
- Knowledge of control systems (Crestron, QSC, Extron, AMX) and DSP platforms (Biamp, QSC, Clearone, BSS)
- Ability to prepare, understand, and interpret advanced single-line diagrams, architectural, construction, and electrical drawings
- Knowledge of project financial reports, and the ability to control costs in the design and management of projects is essential
- Ability to read engineering schematics and communicate design intent
Desired Qualifications
- 3+ years of Design Engineering experience is preferred
- CTS and CTS-D certifications are a plus but not required with the right experience
- Any other industry related certs or training are also a plus
