Job Summary
Deliver and pickup audio/visual equipment on the Mercer University Atlanta campus, providing instruction on proper use and setup of sound systems while performing simple maintenance. Operate LCD projectors, DVD players, and other multimedia equipment for faculty, staff, and students, ensuring accurate set-up, operation, and breakdown. Work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends, maintaining high attention to detail and dependable service. Training may be provided for multimedia equipment operation.
Required Qualifications
- Must be dependable
- Have a high attention to detail
- Be available to work a flexible schedule, to include evenings & weekends
- Be able to deliver and pickup of A/V equipment on campus
- Be able to provide instruction on the proper use and set up of audio/visual equipment
- Be able to operate sound systems
- Be able to perform simple maintenance as required
- Be able to work directly with students, faculty and staff
- Be able to perform other duties as the supervisor may, from time to time, deem necessary
- Be able to perform set/up, operation, & breakdown of A/V equipment on the Mercer University Atlanta campus
- Have excellent customer service skills
- Be able to complete an Employment Eligibility Verification Form (I-9)
- Present documentation verifying citizenship or permanent residency
- Have a valid US Passport, certificate of US citizenship, alien registration card with photograph OR two of the following documents: a state driver's license, validated student ID card, original social security card, birth certificate
