Audio-Video Technician – CRADLE Position

Job Summary
Manage and maintain the Reston, VA CRADLE conference rooms, including screens, cameras, speakers, microphones, DSP setups, and VTC/AV control surfaces. Control video conferencing, live streaming, networked lighting, and event audio using wired and wireless systems while assisting leadership with space configuration and takedown. Perform regular health checks on all equipment to ensure constant uptime and track issues as they arise. Coordinate with multiple groups for upcoming event use and support executive conference rooms within the headquarters. Work up to 10% local travel and interact daily with C-Suite and senior management during highly visible events.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree plus five years of relevant experience, or comparable experience in lieu of a degree
- Strong experience with Microsoft Teams and Zoom collaboration software suites
- Strong ability to work independently and quickly resolve issues in a highly visible position
- Good understanding of when to call other team members to assist in problem resolution
- Demonstrated excellent customer service skills
- High attention to detail
- Technical proficiency in a variety of collaboration platforms

- Experience using a Crestron-based system
