Job Summary
Operate and maintain venue sound systems, including microphones, speakers, and PA equipment, ensuring optimal functionality during live events. Set up and break down stage equipment according to designs while loading and unloading gear from trucks. Serve as a backup for A/V and PA systems, maintaining public announcement systems and troubleshooting technical issues under pressure. Act as the primary liaison between vendors, artists, crews, and property management to coordinate end-to-end onsite setups, including exhibitor registration and follow-up surveys. Perform stage maintenance tasks for lighting, sound, and equipment in a fast-paced environment. This role supports AEG's mission to host global sports and entertainment events, requiring proficiency in audio systems and strong coordination skills.
Required Qualifications
- Prior experience with live sound production, A/V systems, and stage setup
- Proficiency in operating and maintaining audio, PA, and A/V systems
- Knowledge of stage equipment and lighting
- Ability to lift and transport equipment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to perform stage maintenance tasks
- Strong ability to coordinate with artists, vendors, and crew members
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues under pressure
