Audio Engineer II

Job Summary
Capture, mix, and process audio for video projects across studio, location, and live settings. Set up and manage production audio equipment, ensuring functionality and quality while assisting with cleaning, editing, and syncing audio to remove artifacts. Record voiceovers, cut clips, and maintain synchronization between audio and video during recorded and streamed events. Collaborate with producers, directors, and post-production teams to source music, sound effects, and implement timecode. Manage the audio library and sound effects databases, perform gear maintenance, and screen final audio to align with the creative vision.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent training in audio engineering, sound mixing, or combination of education/training with relevant experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in audio production using Avid Pro Tools DAW
- Proficiency with digital audio consoles, microphones, and outboard gear
- Experience with live audio capture and post-production audio plug-in software from Waves, Avid, Plugin-Alliance, Melodyne, etc. and iZotope RX for Audio Restoration tasks
- A collaborative and flexible style, with a strong service mentality
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to develop sincere business/ministry relationships
- Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills
- Demonstrated commitment to the social sector with a passion for our mission and values
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment
- Must pass a pre-employment reference screen and background check
- Proof of legal authorization to work in the United States
- Must agree with K-LOVE Christ-Centered Life Covenant and Statement of Faith

- Basic DANTE knowledge is a plus
