Job Summary
Mix Front of House and Broadcast audio for weekend, Wednesday, and special events while preparing stages through line checks, patching, and sound checks. Troubleshoot audio issues quickly to ensure smooth, distraction-free services and assist with stage setup, lighting, media operations, and equipment maintenance. Edit worship and teaching recordings, promote volunteer engagement as a Trainer, and serve wherever needed across all campuses. This role requires standing for up to eight hours, lifting up to 50 pounds, and adapting to a dynamic environment. Candidates must align with ACC's doctrinal vision and fulfill deacon character qualifications.
Required Qualifications
- Agree to ACC's doctrinal distinctive and vision as found in our What We Believe/Vision Statement
- Fulfill the character qualifications of a deacon as taught in scripture
- Be highly motivated, energetic, and possess strong work ethic/initiative skills
- Experience mixing live audio
- Understanding signal flow
- Experience troubleshooting audio systems
- Ability to learn new equipment quickly
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during rehearsals, weekend services, and special events (up to 8 hours)
- Ability to regularly bend, kneel, reach, climb stairs, and work around stage and production equipment
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Ability to push or pull rolling equipment cases, carts, and road cases weighing up to 80 pounds
- Ability to adapt and thrive in a rapidly changing, dynamic environment
- Exhibit skill to think quickly and react/troubleshoot calmly and effectively in high-stress situations
