Job Summary
Audio DSP Engineer (m/f/d) at Sonova Consumer Hearing GmbH in Hannover, Germany. Hybrid work model. Responsibilities include developing, simulating, and implementing audio DSP algorithms for embedded systems (headphones and audio devices), designing and integrating audio processing solutions, tuning systems based on measurements and customer requirements, defining system requirements and interfaces, prototyping new concepts, troubleshooting audio issues, and collaborating with suppliers and internal stakeholders. Requirements include a degree in Electrical Engineering, Acoustics, or Signal Processing, hands-on embedded audio DSP experience, strong C/C++, MATLAB, and Python skills, and knowledge of audio systems (microphones, headphones, loudspeakers). Proficiency in English; German a plus. Offered by a collaborative international R&D environment with a flexible hybrid working model.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Acoustics, Signal Processing, or similar
- Hands on experience in embedded audio DSP development
- Strong programming skills in C/C++ , MATLAB and Python
- Solid understanding of audio systems (e.g., microphones, headphones, loudspeakers)
- Experience with measurement, tuning, and debugging of audio systems
- Fluent in English (German is a plus)
