Job Summary
Head of Audio Department responsible for managing daily operations of the audio team (speakers, amps, drive racks, consoles, etc.), supervising training and performance, and providing employee coaching. Oversees ERP asset tracking, inventory coordination across departments, and ensuring equipment leaves the shop to meet client specifications and deadlines. Coordinates warehouse flow of inbound/outbound gear, develops/improves packaging for Clair systems, collaborates with operations, and forecasts staffing needs during peak seasons. Requires familiarity with audio electronics, tools, and ERP systems, plus leadership and strong communication to guide multiple departments.
Required Qualifications
- Experience supervising, mentoring, and coaching employees
- Experience with audio electronics, consoles, speakers, amps, RF, and comms
- Working knowledge of ERP systems
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to lead multiple departments and meet client deadlines
- Willingness to be available by phone or email during off hours
